System Requirements: 
Your Web browser must be "cookie-enabled" in order to properly access and use SIM4ME ESD system. If your cookies are not enabled, you may not be able to access certain services. 

What is a "Cookie"?
Cookies are small text files that are generated by a Web server and stored in the user's computer, ready for future access. Cookies do not execute any code or virus. 

Cookies are embedded in the HTML information flowing back and forth between the user's computer and the servers. Cookies were implemented to allow user-side customization of Web information.

Why does SIM4ME ESD use cookies?
Cookies serve as an identification for the SIM4ME ESD system.  We use cookies to personalize our users' experiences and to serve you better and more efficiently. Without cookies, it would be difficult for us to provide any personalized service. 

We respect the privacy of our users. For that reason, we do not use cookies to 
track the web usage of our users nor do we share  users' personal information to 
third parties. 

How can I enable my Web browser to use cookies?
Each browser handles cookies in a slightly different manner. The instructions apply to 
Windows 95, 98, NT and Windows 2000.

Go to Tools menu 
Choose Internet Options 
Select the Security tab 
Click on the Custom Level button 
Scroll down list to Cookies and set the option to Enable or Prompt. 

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x

Go to the View menu in your browser 
Choose Internet Options 
Choose Advanced 
Scroll down to Security 
Choose one of the following two options: 
     - Always accept cookies 
     - Prompt before accepting cookies 

Netscape Navigator 4.x and 6.x 

Go to the Edit menu on your browser 
Choose Preferences 
Choose Advanced 
Select one of the two following choices: 
     - Accept all cookies 
     - Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server.
